NEW SMYRNA, Fla. -- Bobby Webber Racing made their presence felt during the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. Kyle Casper started off the week competing in the Sportsman division, driving the Boyd Technology No. 47 to a sixth-place finish on night one, and a podium third-place effort on night two.

Then, it was time for Bryan Kruczek to take the wheel of the Pro Late Model. Bryan grabbed a top-five finish on night one, but followed up by crashing out on night two after a racing incident. The team worked hard overnight to prepare the car for battle, and just one night later, Bryan wheeled to victory in dramatic fashion with a pass inside the final two laps to take one of the biggest wins of his career, and give Bobby Webber Racing the first team win at New Smyrna.

"It was a battle of attrition, I said I was just going to sit back and watch them beat and bang and be there at the right time and I was there for it," Kruczek said. "Happy to be here -- it's a long travel for us. I have to thank all of the guys from the Port City teams for helping us, Boyd Technology and all of the guys and girls on the team... I can't thank everyone enough."

Casper's week started with trouble after a flat tire during practice day put the No. 47 in the wall off turn two. The team had to work hard to get the car back together, but it was well worth it -- as Casper prevailed to a podium on the final night of Sportsman racing, a 50-lap feature.

"It was a good run," Casper said. "We had been working really hard all weekend to get the car better and it was the best it had been in that final race. I wish we had a few more races to run but we will try again next time."

Bobby Webber Racing wishes to thank our dedicated sponsors for their help to get us to New Smyrna for competition at the front of the field.
