EPPING, N.H. -- Bobby Webber Racing announced today that Rusty Poland will drive the No. 19 Pro Stock for the Granite State Pro Stock Series event at Star Speedway during the Star Classic. The Friday, September 15 event is set for 100 laps in the Outside Groove Saloon 100 and BWR is happy to welcome Poland to the team.
BWR Pro Stock driver Bryan Kruczek has been busy with work and home commitments and will not be able to race this event. Bryan hopes to be in attendance to help the team next Friday night. "I was honestly taken back when Bobby asked me if I was interested in driving the car, they have top notch equipment and are a threat everywhere they go," Poland said. "So, for me, it was a no brainer to say yes to it. Webber has supported me for a really long time as a friend and helped with sponsorship here and there. I'm beyond excited to try to get the entire Bobby Webber Racing team a trophy at their biggest race of the year. I always tell everyone the Star Classic is some of the best racing, camping and overall fan experience you can have in the New England area. I'm just a lucky guy to be able to drive that car and work with some friends to chase a trophy." Webber is excited to battle for the gold. The Star Classic is certainly a major event for the Bobby Webber Racing team and the group has been to Victory Lane at Star multiple times the last few years. "We're happy to welcome Rusty to the team for this major event at our home track," Webber said. "We look forward to welcoming Bryan back behind the wheel down the line, but Rusty will fill the seat with experience and proven success behind him at Star for this race. We're planning to go there and chase the win. Capturing another victory during Star Classic weekend would be major for the team."
