LEE, N.H. -- When it comes to Lee USA Speedway and Bobby Webber Racing this season, the combination is off to one of the most impressive starts in track history. Bryan Kruczek wheeled the No. 19 Boyd Technology, Vynorius Piledriving, Hedges Excavating machine into Victory Lane two more times this past Friday, July 16, sweeping two races in the same night for the Rodfather Late Model Sportsman.
The path to victory wasn't easy -- as Kruczek had to work his way through the field in both races and pass for the lead in the final stages. However, when the final results were tallied, Kruczek was carrying the checkered flag and holding two trophies. The race was another round of the Race For the Ring, as Kruczek became the first driver to win more than one race in the series.
"It’s a great accomplishment for our BWR team to go out and bring fast cars to the track every week and collect victories and sweep again," Kruczek said. "It's all because of the guys who work hard on this car. This Boyd Technology No. 19 is just on rails, and it’s just fun to drive it and be the guy to chase every week at Lee. I hope we can continue the season we are having there with a few more trophies along the way. "
Kruczek also is closing in on the championship lead after missing the season-opener, and should be a threat for the points title as the season comes to a closer late in the summer.
The next race for Bobby Webber Racing will be right back at Lee USA Speedway on Friday, July 23, looking for another win with the No. 19. For more information on the team, visit bobbywebberracingllc.com.
