Team To Compete in Granite State Derby at Lee USA Speedway

EPPING, N.H. --
Just under two weeks from winning the Granite State Pro Stock Series Hedges Excavating 100 at Star Speedway, Bobby Webber Racing is heading back to the track looking to make it two straight victories this weekend.

The BWR team is set to compete in the inaugural Granite State Derby presented by USA Insulation on Saturday, May 21, at Lee USA Speedway, with the Granite State Pro Stock Series 100. Bryan Kruczek will wheel the No. 19 Pro Stock in competition around a track where he feels at home.

Kruczek picked up 10 wins during the 2021 season in Lee's Late Model Sportsman division and knows his way around the track, with many laps, over many years, in his past at Lee. This event means even more for Bobby Webber Racing, as Lee USA Speedway and the Wrenn family (track owners) stepped up as a sponsor of the team for a trip south to compete with the CARS Tour in March, where the logo for the Granite State Derby was on the hood of the No. 19 ride. Kruczek wheeled to a sixth-place finish that day sporting the Lee logo, and will look to get back to Victory Lane this time around.

The event at Lee is promoted by JDV Productions and also includes the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour's return to the New Hampshire track for the first time in two decades.

"Racing the Granite State Derby was always on my mind," team owner Bobby Webber Jr., said. "The support that the Wrenn family has provided to our race team this year has been huge. It's only natural that we make our way to Lee to be there for them and Josh Vanada, the owner of JDV Productions, the promoters of the race. We have good momentum on our team from our win at Star. Bryan is enjoying the no pressure situation of just racing for wins and not watching points. We should be able to run up front and contend for the win, after Lee was our home track last year. I'll be thinking of the team during the day when we complete a full card of racing over at Star, but as soon as we throw the final checkered flag, we will be headed North on Route 125 to Lee."

Prior to racing at Lee, fans should check out the racing at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire, a track operated by BWR owner Bobby Webber Jr. The action begins at 12:30 p.m. and tickets are just $15 for adults or two for $25. Kids 10 and under are free into Star Speedway for a show that includes four divisions of racing. After the Star show concludes, fans will have plenty of time to head up the road to Lee for the feature action during the Granite State Derby.

Tickets for the inaugural Granite State Derby presented by USA Insulation are available in advance at JDVProductions.com and will also be available at the track on race day. General admission for the event is $40. The Granite State Pro Stock Series feature should hit the track somewhere around 5 p.m. and will air live on RacingAmerica.TV for those who can't make it to the track.
