WALPOLE, N.H. -- After a few weeks off, the Granite State Pro Stock Series roars back to action this Sunday, May 30, at Claremont Motorsports Park, with a Memorial Day special. As part of a full Sunday evening of racing, which will also include a special 60-lap Mini Stock madness event, Quest for the Cup double-feature races for the NHSTRA Modifieds, NELCAR Legends, Six Shooters, Pure Stocks and a 4-Cylinder Enduro, fans will have a little bit of everything in New Hampshire. The Pro Stock portion of the evening will include multiple series champions and feature winners in competition, with the championship battle starting to take form with three of the 15 races complete. Angelo Belsito leads the standings by just six points on Devin O’Connell, while Gabe Brown sits third, eight points back. All three drivers are expected to compete on Sunday evening at Claremont. Another driver expected is the Bobby Webber Racing pilot Bryan Kruczek, who will be driving the familiar No. 19 -- the same car he went to Victory Lane with in the last Granite State event at Star Speedway on May 8. Unlike some of his competitors, Kruczek has never stepped foot on the property at Claremont Motorsports Park -- one of New Hampshire’s trickiest race tracks. He will hope to become a quick study of the oval to be a major contender. “I’m pretty excited to try a new adventure and hopefully get the team back to Victory Lane when we head to Claremont,” Kruczek said. “I’ve never been there before, but I’ve been watching enough videos that I get how the track races and I think it looks like a fun place. It definitely has a unique line to it.” Kruczek proved at Star that he has the speed to get the job done, driving from the back to the front multiple times in the same race en route to victory. At Claremont, he hopes to make his job a little bit easier -- by qualifying and running up front for the entire 100-lap distance. “Not having to chase points this year is much less stressful, and more fun for our whole team,” Kruczek said. “The goal is just to win races and it gives us the ability to hit the reset button whenever we feel it’s needed.” Additional entries for the event include Casey Call, Josh King, Tyler Tomassi, DJ Shaw, Derek Gluchacki and more. Adult tickets are just $25 for general admission, with seniors (65+) set at $20, and children 6-12 just $5. Any children ages five and under will be allowed free general admission. A full schedule will be available soon, but fans can expect the first green flag to fall at 4 p.m. with Pro Stock time trials. EPPING, N.H. -- Bryan Kruczek passed the entire field -- at least twice -- en route to his first career Granite State Pro Stock Series win at Star Speedway on Saturday, May 8. Kruczek, who was fastest in time trials and won his heat race, started seventh -- but had to go to the rear on at least two different occasions. The Bobby Webber Racing driver didn’t let that slow him down, as he took the Vynorius No. 19 into Victory Lane in the third GSPSS race of the season, the Hedges Excavating 100. “I’m out of breath,” Kruczek said, climbing from the car. “I had to pass a lot of cars out there. I can’t thank all of my guys enough, my guys are second to none. Bobby Webber lets me come out here and tells me to hand him the steering wheel or the trophy. We have some awesome sponsors.” Kruczek’s day included contact and a spin by Jacob Dore, which sent both to the rear, and contact and a spin with Evan Beaulieu, which sent both to the rear. He pitted multiple times to the attention of his Bobby Webber Racing crew, but the car was right at the end. He passed Pole for the top spot with 24 laps to go -- however, a caution late gave Pole on last chance. Pole edged out for the lead on the restart, crossing the line out front at lap 94 -- but slight contact a few laps later sent him backwards, and eventually spinning down the frontstretch, ending his day early. Kruczek held off a final charge from Josh King over the final laps to seal the victory. Without the support of countless sponsors, including Vynorius, Hedges Excavating, Little Webb's Tires, Fuel & Race Parts, Jaime Webber Photography, KDW Landscaping, Ty Cooper Land Holdings, Velocita and more, the win would not have been possible. The Bobby Webber Racing team looks forward to getting back to the track and chasing another checkered flag soon. EPPING, N.H. -- Bryan Kruczek and the Bobby Webber Racing team are completing final preparations for the Granite State Pro Stock Series event at Star Speedway on Saturday, May 8. Returning to the home track, owned by race team owner Bobby Webber, Kruczek is looking to put together a strong run for the fans, sponsors and supporters that will be in attendance.
The team opened the Granite State Pro Stock Series season at Stafford Motor Speedway with a 12th place finish after struggling with speed most of the day. But some practice at Star, and a fresh setup under the hood, should bring the No. 19 Vynorius, Hedges Excavating machine to the front of the pack at Star. "I'm definitely excited and ready for the weekend to get here," Kruczek said. "With the race being at our home track, in front of all of the sponsors, supporters, friends and family, it really means a lot to me and our team to go out there and be our best. I think our hard work over the last week in the shop and the track will allow us to go out there and be up front." There will be a practice session on Friday, May 7, before the Saturday, May 8 race day at Star. Race day begins with practice from 12:20-12:45 p.m., followed by a final session from 1:05-1:30 p.m. Time trials will take place at 2:30 p.m., followed by heat races and the feature event. The estimated green flag for the Hedges Excavating 100 is 5:15 p.m. For more information on Bobby Webber Racing, visit bobbywebberracingllc.com and follow the team on Facebook. EPPING, N.H. -- Bryan Kruczek and the entire Bobby Webber Racing team officially open their New England racing season on Saturday, April 24, at Stafford Motor Speedway in Connecticut. Set to compete with the Granite State Pro Stock Series, in the Casagrande Builders 75, Kruczek will chase a $3,000 winning prize against some of the top Super Late Model competitors from across the region.
Driving the Vynorius Piledriving, Hedges Excavating, Ty Cooper Land Holdings No. 19, Kruczek will make his return to the Connecticut half-mile after many years away. He does have a previous start with the Pro All Star Series at Stafford, but he did not finish in that race, and is hoping to change that this time around. "I'm pretty excited to get back to Stafford Motor Speedway and get this new season of racing in New England kicked-off for our entire BWR team," Kruczek said. "I've enjoyed racing with the Granite State Pro Stock Series in the past, and look forward to doing it again this weekend, and a lot of the season." The opener of the Granite State Pro Stock Series season will mark the beginning of Bobby Webber Racing's 2021 season schedule, which includes more than 20 races, spread between the Granite State Pro Stock Series, Open Super Late Models, NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series and more. Pit gates at Stafford open at 9 a.m., with practice set to take the green flag at 12:25 p.m. Granite State Pro Stock Series time trials begin at 1:30 p.m., with heat and feature racing to follow. EPPING, N.H. -- The Bobby Webber Racing team is heading south to New Smyrna Speedway. The team will make their debut at the famed World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway, driving in the Sportsman division. BWR will purchase a new car from Boyd Technologies to use for competition -- with assistance from Boyd at the track planned throughout the week to make sure the car is up to speed.
A practice session is set for Thursday, February 4, while the Sportsman division is set to compete on the first two of nine nights -- Friday, February 5, and Saturday, February 6. The Sportsman event on Friday will be 35 laps, while Saturday will be a 50 lap special. Each of the nine nights will air live to race fans across the country as part of NBC Sports Gold TrackPass platform, which is just $2.99 per month. “Going to Florida -- I can sum it up in three words -- stress, nerves and excitement,” team owner Bobby Webber said. “It’s something I have dreamed of for years, getting my own team on the track at New Smyrna Speedway. I have experienced the highs and lows of New Smyrna when I traveled yearly with Lou Mechalides for over 10 years -- now, it’s time to put the Bobby Webber Racing name on the map in Florida.” Kruczek, a multiple-time American Canadian Tour and Pro All Star Series winner , is set to take his first laps at the high-banked Florida oval. Kruczek has over 20 feature wins at Lee USA Speedway in the Late Model division. “First of all, I’m excited just to be able to race this time of year, as I’m usually plowing snow or pulling wrecked cars out of the ditch through February,” Kruczek said. “Having the opportunity to head south, knowing we have a car that Boyd Technologies has been preparing for us, it gives me confidence that we will unload with a solid car. That has my entire team pumped up.” Although he doesn’t have laps on the track, Kruczek is familiar with the look of the track, and his experience in New England might give him an upper hand as he looks to adapt. “I got to see New Smyrna when we visited for Speedweeks previously, so I have a decent idea of how it might race,” Kruczek said. “Running tracks like Thompson (Speedway), New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Richmond Raceway… I think I will be able to acclimate fast. I’ve been spending a lot of time on iRacing over the last month practicing… I’m excited to get some real laps in.” Boyd Technologies has proven success at New Smyrna, and the entire Bobby Webber Racing team is excited to work with the group. “The stress level is definitely building this week as we try to remember everything we need to pack,” Webber said. “Stress that I put on myself for expecting too much. At the same time, I’m excited to debut a brand new Boyd car that should be fast right out of the box.” Without the support of countless sponsors, the trip south wouldn’t be possible. Associate major sponsors include Advanced Gas Distributors, Hawthorne Automotive, ASI Racewear, Body’s by Kevin, Hedges Excavating and Vynorius Piledriving. There are endless friends of the Webber Racing team that are also involved, including Fast Track Concessions, Black Flagged Podcast, RAW Motorsports, Mainely Awards, Velocita, Red Cup Racing, Capitol Renegade, Kruczek’s Garage, LCM Motorsports, Eleveight Design, Embroidery Expertees, KDW Landscaping and Property Services, the Hebbelinck Family, N.E. Race Fuels and K Cobb Botanicals. There are also others that have supported the team over the years. “I can’t thank all of our supporters enough,” Kruczek said. “It’s truly overwhelming how fast, and how many of our current and new sponsors reached out to us to support our trip south. I’m heading down there to give 100% -- and hopefully bring home some trophies to showcase their efforts. If anyone has met Bobby Webber, they know winning is the only option. He gives me the equipment I need and direct orders to hand him the checkered flag. We have a great team, a great car, and great sponsors.” Webber certainly is planning to win as part of the trip of over 1,200 miles. “I’m excited to be in warm weather and be able to enjoy and continue to grow the team that my Dad helped me get off the ground,” Webber said. “It’s exciting, but the best feeling will be when we roll into New Smyrna Speedway and hit the track.” For a full schedule of New Smyrna’s racing, visit newsmyrnaspeedway.com. STORY BY Souza Media LOUDON, N.H. — With a right-rear tire blistered and coming apart, Bryan Kruczek still was able to wheel the No. 19 Vynorius Piledriving Late Model to a third-place finish on Saturday in the American-Canadian Tour Full Throttle 75 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Kruczek started just outside the top-10, per the ACT plus/minus system and worked his way into the top-five by lap 12, and ended up in the top-three by lap 25. At lap 34, Kruczek took the lead for the first time and led eight laps, before settling for second and third, for much of the remainder. A late caution gave Kruczek the chance he was looking for — lining him up to the outside of leader Wayne Helliwell Jr. — and he was able to edge ahead for a second. But it was Helliwell who would pick up the win, while Kruczek started to feel his right-rear tire come apart. He was able to wheel the car around the ‘Magic Mile’ for the final two laps and salvage a solid third-place finish for his Bobby Webber Jr. Racing team. “Can’t complain with a podium finish at Loudon,” Kruczek said. “The mid-race the car was really good, I thought it would loosen up as the race went on, but the second set of tires we were just tight.” Kruczek picked up the victory in his eight-lap qualifying heat race on Friday and was strong in practice. He backed it up with a podium finish on the big stage at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the race. The next American Canadian Tour points race for Kruczek and Bobby Webber Racing will be on Saturday, October 17, the final ACT race of the season at Oxford Plains Speedway. STORY BY: Souza Media OXFORD, Maine – Bryan Kruczek, driving for Bobby Webber Racing, piloted the No. 19 Vynorius Piledriving Late Model to a third-place finish in Sunday’s American Canadian Tour (ACT) race at Oxford Plains Speedway. It was the third time in the last four races at Oxford that the veteran competitor earned a podium run -- two of them wins last year, and the other this third-place finish. The only additional race at Oxford driving for Webber ended with a mechanical failure. Kruczek started at the bottom of the top-10 on Sunday, and slowly worked his way to the front. He reached the top-five on lap 54, in the middle of a long green flag run, and battle up to third with just under 50 laps to go. He would take the second spot on lap 116, but a few late cautions, and a loose race car, forced him to settle for third. He finished the race battling with the likes of Ben Rowe, Dylan Payea and Dillon Moltz. "I’m happy with the finish, I thought with about 20 laps to go that we were going to be sliding backwards quickly,” Kruczek said. “I rolled the dice on a restart and took the car to the top and I got lucky and got by Dillon Moltz, then I steered it back to the bottom, made it straight and pointed it to the finish.” Kruzcek, who knows Oxford well, feels like the race day schedule might have played in a role in how the car drove in the feature. Normally, the ACT Tour doesn’t start practicing at 8 a.m. -- but Sunday was no normal day -- fitting for the COVID era of 2020. A rain-filled day on Saturday forced officials to postpone the race to Sunday, which left the ACT Tour feature set to take the green at 11:30 p.m., hours before the prestigious Oxford 250. The green flag dropped for heat races at 10 a.m. “We don’t usually practice that early in the morning and I know Oxford is a moody track, it changes throughout the day,” Kruzcek said. “Generally, I start the car off a bit too tight, but I decided to free the car up because I thought we would be way too tight by the end of the feature. But it went the wrong way. I was just too free at the end. I couldn’t do anything on the bottom.” Even though he didn’t earn the checkered flag, Kruczek and team are happy with the finish against 27 of the best Late Model competitors in the region. A long list of supporters made attending Oxford’s race possible, including Vynorius Pildriving, Capital Renegade, 949 Productions, Hedges Excavation, KDW, Body’s By Kevin, Dale Shaw Race Cars, Velocita USA, Magnus Transmissions, New England Racing Fuels, Performance Parts Supply, LCM Racing, Eleveight Designs and Bill Callen Racing Communications. The next race for Kruzcek and Bobby Webber Racing is at Thunder Road Speedway in Vermont, this Sunday, September 6, as a celebration of Labor Day Weekend with the 42nd annual Labor Day Classic 200 lapper. Post-time for the event is 1 p.m. After Thunder Road’s ACT event, the team will head to New Hampshire Motor Speedway as part of Full Throttle Fall Weekend on September 11/12 for the Full Throttle 75. TEAM IS FRESH OFF FIRST ACT WIN OF SEASON AT RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY STORY BY Souza Media EPPING, N.H. -- Bryan Kruczek seems to be finding a second home at Oxford Plains Speedway with Bobby Webber Racing. The veteran Late Model competitor picked up two victories at the Maine oval last year with the American Canadian Tour (ACT) and might have been on his way to another earlier this year before his axle fell out of the car mid-race. This weekend, Kruczek and Bobby Webber Racing are heading back to Oxford looking to make the best of another opportunity and end up with another checkered flag. Kruczek teamed up with Bobby Webber Jr., the owner and operator of Star Speedway, prior to the start of the 2019 season and the two have sparked success since. “Good equipment, the Shaw’s give me good stuff, they give us good information,” Kruczek said of why the team is having so much success at Oxford. “We just unloaded there last year for a test, being a new team, and we took it out of the trailer and made two adjustments on the car and we were running some good lap times. We just took good notes and unloaded the first race there last year and ran well.” After winning the first ACT race there last year, Kruczek decided to try and make the car better, with some setup adjustments under the hood. But moments before the green flag in the heat race as part of Oxford 250 weekend last year with the ACT Tour, he reversed course and went back to something he trusted. “Right before the heat race we changed the whole car and went all the way back to what we ran in the spring,” Kruczek said. “It seemed to work out well.” He would win that race as well. Kruczek and Webber Racing have two cars, but they are heading back to Oxford with the same car they dominated both races with there last year. It’s a different car he’s been having success with lately in 2020. After a slow start to the ACT season, Kruczek seems to have turned things around – with a strong fifth-place finish in the Midsummer Classic 250 at White Mountain Motorsports Park and a victory last time on the track at Riverside Speedway. “We were getting a little bit down on ourselves and put some serious time in during the week inside the shop and we went back to what we know, what we ran last year, and we went to White Mountain,” Kruczek said. “But we made the right call to take tires early and get track position at White Mountain and it worked out. After that, we put some more time in at the shop and unloaded at Riverside and right off the bat we put new tires on, and we went to the top of the practice board. We pretty much dominated the race.” His relationship with Webber and the team has been strong from day one, and their chemistry working together is showing, with plenty of success. The two started working together in the winter before the 2019 season. “It’s been great,” Kruczek said. “We raced back in the day and we didn’t always see eye-to-eye when we drove against each other on the track, but I went and got a car for him with my business and I happened to go back to his shop, we were just talking and Bobby asked me what I was doing the next year, I said nothing, and we took off from there. We never talked a whole bunch before we started working together, but we mesh well. He has his ideas and I have mine and we are seeing eye-to-eye.. things have been good. Our families are close. We hang out a lot, we camp, I help him at Star.. It's just like racing with your friends. He’s easy-going and he wants to win.” Team owner Bobby Webber is also happy to see the momentum they are building coming off their first win of the year. “This season has been a struggle,” Webber said. “We started off tough with some finishes we weren’t proud of, and we have momentum now. Oxford has been good to us before. I’ll be happy with a top three finish for the year after the way we started it off, but don’t count us out. We are rolling now.” The next race for the team in the American Canadian Tour feature at Oxford, which is scheduled for Saturday night, August 29, but weather forecasts that call for rain could force officials to change the schedule. If the race is washed out, it will be run early on Sunday morning ahead of the prestigious Oxford 250. Race fans who can’t make it to Oxford can purchase a pay-per-view broadcast on to watch Bobby Webber Racing’s No. 19. For more information, follow the team on Facebook at Bobby Webber Racing. |
